What is HEPA filtration?

HEPA filtration technology was developed by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission to remove airborne radioactive particles. In order to be considered true HEPA   filter  it must be capable of removing 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Today HEPA filter is used in such places as hospitals and manufactures’ clean rooms where clean air is absolutely vital.

The V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) filter removes dangerous household chemical gases from things like cleaners, paints, solvents, carpets, furniture, and other material containing chemical substances.
